The China Photovoltaic Industry Association (CPIA) has issued the "Initiative on Further Strengthening Industry Self-Discipline and Jointly Safeguarding a Fair, Competitive, and Survival-of-the-Fittest Photovoltaic Market Order", urging companies to strictly comply with laws and regulations and resolutely resist engaging in malicious competition by selling below cost. Power station enterprises are encouraged to optimize bidding rules by reducing the weight of price and increasing the weight of technical evaluation. Meanwhile, companies should arrange production reasonably based on actual market supply and demand, strengthen the coordination between production and sales, and resist blind expansion of production and output that violates market economic principles and laws and regulations, as well as any actions that further deteriorate the market environment.
