UBS has issued a report upgrading LEAPMOTOR's (09863.HK) rating from Sell to Neutral and sharply raising its target price from HKD25 to HKD72. The broker highlighted that LEAPMOTOR's robust monthly sales momentum had alleviated its previous concerns over intensified competition in the electric vehicle market and ongoing cost control execution. It estimated the carmaker's sales growth to stay strong until the end of the year. That being said, UBS reminded investors that the fading policy benefits, persistent competitive landscape, and LEAPMOTOR's upgrade strategy might impose higher demands on LEAPMOTOR's execution capabilities for its projected 2026 results.
